TRAPS:
Proven results
4 types of mainstream traps with proven results. Victor Black Box, Macabee, Gophinator, and Cinch. The traps are set individually and set at specific locations. Traps are usually reusable and considered more cost effective.
Gopher removal with traps may require set-up time and patience. Preparation of the hole, probing the "plug", set the trap, and then it's a waiting game. Dawn and dusk may be a good time to detect activity; however they may be active at all hours. The trap may catch something within several hours or it may take days. We check the traps regularly and keep the Customer updated.
This style of pest control and trapping has proven very effective and used for a 100 years, a very small portion of the kills may not be instantaneous. However, in most cases they are quick, painless, and humane. The carcasses can be removed or buried where they lie.
Keep kids and pets, clear while the trap is set (live), just to be safe. Some types of traps are partially underground leaving a portion in view, above ground. All traps that are set or "live" will be marked with a colored flag. Should the trap have a dead vermin in it, be very cautious handling the trap. The caught vermin may have blood and other hazardous bodily fluids seeping from its body. Always wear gloves!

ODORIZED PROPANE AND OXYGEN:
USDA tested at 95% effective
The propane is mixed with oxygen and is exploded underground, causing a rapid expansion of gasses that leads to concussive force that kills burrowing pest animals instantly and humanly.
The "application rate" is about 3% liquified propane gas and 97% compressed oxygen. It is injected into the burrow for up to two minutes before it is ignited. Ignition can be performed up close or at a distance remotely.
Propane is one of the lightest, simplest hydrocarbons, clean burning. Propane gas is nontoxic, so it’s not harmful to soil and water. Because of this, propane does not endanger the environment.
A downside of this process can be the sound. When it detonates, underground; it can make a loud report sounding like a gunshot. This process should be considered in more of an open area, field, ranch, and any type of open acreage.
Bodies are left underground, no cleanup and no seeing the deceased vermin. This gopher removal process can also kill multiple groups at once versus 1 per trap.

CARBON MONOXIDE INJECTION:
Classified by the EPA
These machines work by pumping carbon monoxide directly into the gopher burrow and runs. They can have oil injected to produce smoke. The smoke is used to see where the flow of gas is moving or if there are other openings that need plugged.
This particular gopher removal process is humane, as the gophers inhale the gas and go into an eternal sleep. By trapping and exterminating rodents in their holes, these patented gopher machines eliminate pests quickly and safely.
This gopher removal process can also kill multiple groups at once versus 1 per trap. Bodies are left underground, no cleanup and no seeing the deceased vermin.
Some branded devices are classified as a Rodent Control Devices pesticidal device by the EPA. Pest control secondary or collateral kills of nontarget species is not likely. As the Carbon Monoxide gas dissipates, it reduces the risk to anything entering the burrow system.
