METHODS PROLONGING THE INEVITABLE

These methods can be a band-aid to a bigger problem that may exist. Using natural oils such as castor oil is cheap and available anywhere. This process is a hit and miss and will not stop gophers from continuing to destroy.....period.

The same goes for any other essential oils extracts such as peppermint. Although very fun to smell, it doesn't remove gophers. Mild deterrents and harassments rarely work, ever.

Let's talk pesticides. This could or may be used as a last resort. These items are extremely dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. Oregon Gopher, LLC is licensed with the State of Oregon with rodenticides and poisons. These items can be very effective if applied correctly, in the right spot, and by a certified technician. Gophers and other vermin need to be neutralized with a proven and effective method, while being mindful of the environment, children, and pets.

Smokers or gassers look like a small stick of dynamite or a large firecracker. These small devices are lit,  put into tunnel, and then begin to smoke. It's very difficult to see if it's actually reaching the vermin. Again, fun to light and put in hole, but rarely effective.
